Design Layne has you covered, offering color consultation (interior and exterior), window treatments, space planning, furnishing selections, flooring, lighting, and everything from floor to ceiling. Are you updating a kitchen or bathroom? Design Layne can offer selections for cabinets, countertops, backsplash, tile, plumbing fixtures, and even cabinetry hardware too.
Turnkey
Ideal for the client who knows their style and what they love but doesn't know how or have the time or energy to execute on their own. This design service will have your home styled down to the very last detail whether you're building a brand new home or your current home needs to be renovated, sit back, and relax while Design Layne takes care of everything.
New Build
Building a house can be stressful but it doesn't have to be! Making wise construction and aesthetic choices from the beginning will give you instant value and won't cost as much in the long run. Pricing
Individual services, design consultation, and new build consultations are billed at $100 per hour. For turnkey service please reach out via email with your scope of work, job location, and any other pertinent information and a rate will be provided.

"Just by chance it was my lucky day when I met Kati Smith.
After three years of effort to furnish and refresh our newly purchased home, I was out of resources and contacts to help complete some of the last projects for the interior. Wallpaper in the dining room and bathrooms had not been changed from the original owner and this was one of the final touches that required professional assistance.
The first face to face meeting between Kati and me was amazing. Just from pictures I had sent and questions she had asked over the phone Kati had my style defined the first moment. She brought only a few books and had preselected samples for each of the rooms. I spent less than an hour choosing because she was so prepared. The installer that she used was exceptional as well.
Needless to say, I managed to turn the little wallpaper job into several more projects because Kati is so talented and easy to work with. I was completely sold on refreshing the master bath as soon as the new wallpaper was up. New beautiful crystal lighting for the bath was next. Then it was on to all new plantation shutters. After the bath transformation my husband was ready to turn to our kitchen. We are so happy every single day that this is now our dream kitchen. What was very traditional is now bright and sparkly and truly beautiful. Of course, we had to beautify the breakfast area too. We have one of the most glamorous and unique chandeliers that Kati could find to light our custom refurbished chairs.

I was never fully satisfied in the past based on the cost for a consultation. I was wondering: Will she understand my style and respect it? Will she guide me to enhance it? Will she stay in my budget? Will I feel embarrassed because my budget is not big enough? Will I be pushed to spend more? Will she charge me if I have a follow-up question? We looked at affordable sites such as Target. And we found great pieces for a good deal. She would also explain why a piece I had chosen would not go so well. In addition, I had follow-up questions and she did not charge me! I am glad I met Kati and received great advice."
